The DNA Baits Secret 7 Pellets 1kg are based on a high-quality, low-oil 38% protein pellet, with the matching Liquid Food liberally applied to them during their manufacture. DNA wanted to make sure that they spelt ‘food’ to carp in the same way their freezer baits do by emitting a varied release of attractive amino acids during their breakdown. This comes from not just the Liquid Food, but also the soluble, powdered attractors used in the coating process. In testing these pellets evoked instant responses from carp (and also most coarse fish!) even in the Arctic conditions. If you are using the DNA range of freezer baits this season, you NEED to get on these. DNA Baits Cloudy Spod Mix Redmist 5kg is an easy-to-prepare cloudy groundbait mix designed for fishing as slop over zigs or alternatively can be used as a high-vis stick mix. The Red Mist is based around a red birdfood blend, Mixed Spices, Ground Hemp, Coconut Meal, Soluble Fish Proteins and Crustacean Extracts, and creates a blood-red cloud upon impact with the water. Due to the unique nature of some of the ingredients included, small food items will suspend at different depths, encouraging competitive feeding, which is ideal for zig fishing. The soluble fish proteins cause an explosion of amino acids throughout the water column, keeping the fish interested long after the cloud has dispersed.
