Lake Description

8 acre specimen carp water holding approximately 800 carp including at least 200 different 20lb plus fish and 15 plus 30lb + carp, with the lake record currently being 34lb 11oz. 18 easily accessible gravel swims, the majority of which has its own parking bay. Big Hayes has catfish upto 40lb+ and also offers some cracking pike fishing during the winter months with specimens to over 25lb. Booking is advisable, full payment is required upon booking.

BETWEEN 7-14 DAYS NOTICE, WE WILL ISSUE YOU A CREDIT THAT HAS TO BE USED WITHIN 6 MONTHS OF YOUR ORIGINAL BOOKING.
LESS THAN 7 DAYS NOTICE, WE WILL ISSUE YOU A CREDIT AS LONG AS WE FILL YOUR SPACE, THIS ALSO HAS TO BE USED WITHIN 6 MONTHS OF YOUR  ORIGINAL BOOKING

Lake Rules

  • Strictly no litter to be left
  • Fish from designated areas only
  • Must have a minimum 42" landing net
  • Large padded unhooking mat must be used
  • No children under the age of 16 without prior arrangement
  • Carp friendly non tether rigs only
  • All carp must be returned to the water via sling or zip mat
  • Strictly no driving on the grass
  • 3 rod limit
  • Bait boats may be used sensibly
  • All day tickets mus be purchased from the shop before commencing fishing
  • Pike fishing from 1st Oct-1st March
  • An EA rod licence is required
