A specialised curve in the clip will lock into position under tension, but allows slack line to flow freely. Ideal for loosening and tightening to explore the water layers with an adjustable zig system. They're also great for using in conjunction with free-running bottom rigs preventing the carp using the weight of your lead to shake the hook.
