With blanks manufactured here in the UK using super high tensile high-grade Japanese carbon. Combined with quality lightweight Seaguide TDG stainless steel guides plus a Fuji DPS reel seat. This blank features a fast taper allowing for greater compression and more pwerfull casting.

The Hyper Spod rod sits within the dedicated spod & marker range of rods. This model has been designed to compliment the D Carp and Black Widow range of carp rods. The Hyper Spod provides a versatile spod and marker rod as well as representing great value for money.
The blank is constructed from high quality carbon and is fitted with high quality ceramic guides. It also features additional whipping to mark 1ft and 2ft up the blank for marker use.
The rod is fitted with a comfortable DPS reel seat with an abbreviated shrink handle so it can be easily cleaned.
There are two models in the range a 12ft and a 13ft model which both feature a 5lb test curve.
