Standard white Fluorocarbon ‘glows’ in daylight as soon as it collects particulate, but the unique tint of FTX effectively absorbs most of this light, making it far less visible in this scenario.
For optimum knot strength with FTX, we recommend a five-turn Grinner, two-turn Tucked Blood, or Figure-of-Eight Loop knots (for loop-to-loop leader connections). Available in 14lb (0.35mm) and 16lb (0.37mm) breaking strains on 200m and 600m spools. *600m spools have markers at 200m, 300m and 400m.
