The Drennan Vertex Reel RD 3000 Float is a designer reel for English style float fishing with ultra-shallow spools which avoid unnecessary backing, improve line lay and casting accuracy. Each reel is supplied with rubber buttons identifying line diameter or breaking strain and these fit securely into spools.
The choice between front and rear drag models is down to angler preference but in practice both models provide accurate, incremental clutch adjustment.
