Daiwa BG Seabass
These powerful blanks are designed in HVF carbon reinforced with X45 tech to deliver a strong resistance to twist as well as a faster recovery. They punch out lures like a missile.
Equipped with Fuji Alconite Concept O guides, the BG rods cover a variety of sea lure work from 10g right up to 56g.
BG historically means Black Gold, so we opted for a classy black and gold cosmetic that strikes a look that belongs on a flagship of the range.
The carbon reel seat, gunsmoke coloured rings, carbon details on the heel and the matte black thread wrap finish push the design to match the quality of the performance.
Shimano Bassterra XT+ LRF 6'9" 0.5-8g
The Bassterra XT+ LRF rods are a refined version of the hugely popular original Bassterra LRF and have been specifically developed for light rock fishing (LRF). The lightweight fast action High Modulus Full Carbon blanks are reinforced with Diaflash, have sensitive solid tips to maximise even the smallest bites and are fitted with high quality Fuji fittings.
Shimano 24 Poison Adrena Spinning
Poison Adrena is Shimano’s ultimate high-end JDM rod range. Combining the most advanced Shimano carbon technology, with JDM philosophy, refinement and scintillating actions, the Poison Adrena also benefits from the latest UBD (Ultimate Blank Design) technology to produce unparalleled performance.
If you don’t, or won’t accept compromise in your fishing gear, you’ll immediately be attracted to the sensational Poison Adrena. It’s Shimano’s flagship spinning range, which say’s a lot, and you’ll immediately understand why when you see and feel this remarkable work of art. The lightness, sensitivity and hidden power are stunning, but it‘s the rods ability to recover so quickly when fishing that really stands out.
Shimano Soare BB S76UL-S 7'6" 0.5-5g 2pc
S76UL-S is very advantageous against tough conditions. The S76UL-S has a supple, high-strength solid [TAFTEC ALPHA], making the tip clearly less stiff than that of the S76UL-T. While it is not good for heavy rigs, it is exceptionally compatible with lightweight rigs. It can also handle the use of an under 1g jig head with ease when dealing with slack-jawed fish in fishing ports, harbors, and breakwaters.

Sunset Lunker SW Spinning
Sunset Lunker SW, made from 24T ‘Technifibre’ carbon, they are reinforced with an ‘X’ carbon frame in the butt, which gives them exceptional robustness. Ideal for targeting sea bass, they are also perfectly suited to catching pelagic fish such as horse mackerel, mackerel and pollack.
Sunset Lunker SW stand out for their ability to propel and animate different types of lures, whether hard lures, soft lures or casting jigs. Thanks to their design in 2 equal sections, they offer great manoeuvrability and facilitate transport and storage.
Daiwa Crossfire Bass
Probably the best value for money rods for chasing bass.
This quartet will serve lures from 7g right up to 42g making sure any lure approach for bass is an option. The 8’ and 9’ medium rated choices offer a 7-28g casting range with 9’ medium heavy a level up at 10-35g. But for bigger lures the 9’6” heavy will propel 12-42g with ease. Using High Modulus Carbon plus, each model delivers the balance of a casting action and fish control level that is ideal for use with braid mainlines.
Apia Foojin’RS Springer 88ML
The lightest rod in the Foojin’RS range.
This one is FUN! Foojin’RS Springer 88ML has a surprising amount of umph in it when you put a reel on. It will cast a 32g metal with ease (its max.) but I’d say is best suited to soft plastics, plugs up to just over 25g on the whole. You’d want to jump to either the VIVOGUE 96ML+ or LYNX 93M/SKY HIGH 99M if you’re regularly fishing 25g or more. It’s not the most efficient rod to buy if you’re fishing surface lures 80% of the time, but for everything else, this is one of the best rods I’ve ever handled.
Daiwa Legalis Travel
Packing down to 40cm it is a ‘go anywhere’ option, whether travelling light, keeping it in the car or throwing it in a suitcase. It Is even supplied with a protective travel case (45cm).
The fast/progressive action is thanks to the combination of the premium grade blank featuring a responsive solid carbon tip section. This delivers a casting weight range of 20 to 50g.
