Gaby Fish Pillow Bream - The Common Bream (Abramis brama) is a very popular freshwater game fish in the cyprinidae family. It is widely found in temperate lakes, slow-flowing rivers and canals throughout most of Europe and as far east as the Black and Aral seas. The species feeds on small aquatics insects, invertebrates and bottom-dwelling bivalves and gastropods as well as plants and plankton. Common bream are often found in schools near the bottom of bodies of water and have a characteristic disc-like shape with a sharp dorsal fin. Bream spawn between April and June when water temperatures are around 17 C.
